About Camp Lighthouse
Summers should be full of fun, friends, and fearlessness! East Texas Lighthouse for the Blind launched “Camp Lighthouse” to ensure blind and visually impaired high schoolers have an opportunity to safely experience a week of independence, confidence, and connections with friends like them.
During this six-day camp in June, students stay on a college campus and participate in fun and educational activities around the area while making memories and creating lasting relationships.
The 2026 Camp Lighthouse session is scheduled for June 21-26. The application deadline is April 10.

Camp Sponsorships
Donations from local businesses and organizations allow us to broaden the impact of Camp Lighthouse. With your support, we can host more campers and enhance the camp experience with additional activities and opportunities.

*Event Sponsors: There are five Event Sponsorship spots available. These sponsorships cover the cost of event activities for our participants, including horseback riding, pool party, obstacle course and more.
*Meal Sponsors: There are 10 Meal Sponsorship spots available. These cover the cost of all meals and snacks for our participants during the six-day camp.
